Engineer Intern

Position type/Expected Hours of work

  • Salaried full-time exempt employee
  • Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with an expectation of 40 – 50 hours based on projects

Travel

  • Travel may include day trips to construction job sites to gather data and consult with builders, architects, and field personnel.

Required Education and Experience

  • 0–1 year experience related in structural/residential engineering related work
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural Engineering from four-year college or university
  •  In the process, or have passed EIT examination

Required Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  •  Prior experience using Revit software

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
    computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is
    required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
